Working in Canada

Understanding how it works

DevRae Canadian Immigration Consulting offers the comprehensive capabilities and deep industry knowledge necessary to help you with securing a job in Canada. We assist foreign nationals of all professions. From doctors, teachers, engineers to welders, technicians, care givers and more.

We offer consultation on obtaining necessary provincial certificates (if applicable), to applying for a job, applying for a work permit and settling in Canada.

We can let you know if you will require a Labor market impact assessment (LMIA) or if your job is in demand. We can also help your employer with the LMIA application.

In some cases, depending on where you are from and type of work you will be doing in Canada, a work permit might not be required. Click here to verify if you will need a work permit.

Note that in most cases, in order to apply for a work permit, you must first have secured a job.

If you graduated from a Canadian post-secondary institution and are eligible to apply for a post graduate work permit, then you won't need to have a job before applying.

Just like the temprary resident programs, note that the check list is not all that is required.

If you must take any advice from our website, remember this:

"As long as the applicant is not able to provide sufficient evidence to convince the immigration officers that they have applied within the objective of the Canadian immigration act, they will more than likely deny the application"
