Federal Skilled Trades Worker (FSTW)

At DevRae Canadian Immigration Consulting, we understand that change is not always easy. That is why we are here to help you with the process of getting your trade certification so you can easily start working in Canada. For some trades, it is mandatory for you to  have a certificate to work in a province, while others are optional.

The federal skilled trades worker program is also one of the economic immigration streams (IRPR s.75) aimed at attracting qualified skilled workers to come to Canada

The federal skilled trades worker program can be applied for via express entry. Eligibility criteria are:

  • Skilled experience

  • Education

  • Language ability

  • Provincial assessment

  • Proof of funds

  • Admissibility

If you must take any advice from our website, remember this:

"As long as the applicant is not able to provide sufficient evidence to convince the immigration officers that they have applied within the objective of the Canadian immigration act, they will more than likely deny the application"
